The University of Texas System

As a Communications Intern for The University of Texas System, I took on a variety of responsibilities that provided valuable hands-on experience and allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the university's communications efforts. 

My role included conducting comprehensive media reviews for the system’s 14 institutions, drafting newsletter blurbs, and proofing outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and professionalism. I also collaborated closely with staff to create engaging graphics and captions that enhanced the system’s social media presence. A highlight of my internship was writing an original article, which showcased my ability to produce thoughtful and impactful content. This experience strengthened my skills in media relations, content creation, and strategic communication within a large, dynamic organization.
